Subzero

Subzero is a metal band that formed around frontman Marcus Carter, who goes by Zero. They put out a debut album called Unleashed that included the song Boxed In. That track seemed to connect with listeners, helping them build an audience from the underground up.

Their music, with songs like To Your Grave and Swingin' From the Noose, leans into dark, heavy territory. The band's lineup shifted early on, with guitarist Jake Rollins and bassist Emily Hayes leaving after their second album, Damned to Ashes. They've kept going with Carter at the center, putting out material like Necropolis, City of the Damned and One to many times.
