Sullii is a band built around vocalist and songwriter Anya, guitarist and producer Ethan, and drummer Jake. They started with a debut song called "Fall Asleep To The Thought Of Me Trying To Fall Asleep," which set a tone for their work. Their music tends toward ethereal melodies and introspective themes, as heard on tracks like "I D D U:" and their EP "Insomnia Diaries."

In 2022, the band faced plagiarism accusations from an anonymous source, which they denied. They kept making music through that, putting out singles such as "Whispers in the Night" and "The Dream I Didn't Want to Wake Up From."
