Summer Cem is Cem Toraman, born in Wilhelmshaven, Germany in 1983. He started putting out music in the late 2000s, and his debut album 'Cemistry' came out in 2007. That record had a track called 'Tamam Tamam' that got a lot of attention in Germany and some other parts of Europe.
He's kept making albums since then, like 'Freier Fall' in 2009, 'Supernova' in 2011, and 'Cemesis' in 2015. Another song people know is 'Pompa.' He's worked with other German rappers, including Samy Deluxe and Kool Savas.
In 2012, he was sentenced to six months in prison for tax evasion. Some of his lyrics have drawn criticism for their language. He put out 'Nur noch einmal' in 2018 and 'Tam Bana Göre' in 2020.
