Superchick was a Christian rock band that came up in the early 2000s with Tricia Brock on vocals, Matt Dally on guitar, Dave Ghazarian on bass, and Brian Fitch on drums. Their first single 'This Is The Time' got a lot of radio play around 2001, and its straightforward energy connected with listeners.
They put out albums like 'Beauty from Pain' in 2003 and 'Rock What You Got' in 2008. Songs like 'Hero' and 'Stand In The Rain' kept their sound in that anthemic, guitar-driven space. Tricia Brock left the band in 2005, and they brought in a new vocalist to keep going.
In 2009, a music video for 'Beauty from Pain' drew some criticism for its imagery. They released one more album called 'Reinvention' in 2012 before winding down.
