Their self-titled debut came out in 2001, mixing surf rock and ska with Brazilian rhythms. They weren't exactly a conventional fit for the local scene at first.
Things shifted with 'Montanha Russa' in 2002. The band kept playing it anyway. They followed it with albums like 'Surfistas do Hawaii II' and 'III' over the next few years, and their sound became a kind of unofficial soundtrack to Brazilian summers.
André Jung left in 2007, replaced by Rafael Pacheco. Simões, Thomaz, and Ribeiro stayed at the core. Their live shows built a reputation for high energy, and they toured outside Brazil in South America, Europe, and Asia.
