Suzxny formed in São Paulo in 2014, with vocalist Suzana Rios and guitarist Lucas Gouvêa at the core. They were later joined by bassist André Silva, drummer Thiago Santos, and keyboardist Felipe Rodrigues.
Their debut album 'Liberdade' came out in 2017, followed by 'Revolução' in 2019 and 'Nós' in 2021. The song 'Liberdade' and the track 'Terras Lunares' featuring Locaut are among their better-known work.
In 2018, the band performed at a protest against police brutality, which drew criticism from some conservative circles. Their lyrics often touch on political themes and social justice.
