T-Bots formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2001 as a quartet with Thiago Fragoso on vocals and rhythm guitar, Rodrigo Sha on lead guitar, André Linhares on bass, and Daniel Vasconcellos on drums. They gained attention in 2003 with their debut single "Blinded," which became a national hit in Brazil. The song's straightforward rock arrangement and earnest delivery connected with listeners, establishing the band's presence in the early 2000s Brazilian rock scene.
After Fragoso left in 2004, Luiz Fabiano took over as vocalist. The band released their self-titled debut album in 2004, which included "Blinded." They followed with several more albums over the next decade, including For You in 2007, 3 in 2010, Restart in 2012, and TBT in 2015. Their catalog also includes songs like "Meu Pensamento" and "Eu Te Quero."
While "Blinded" remained their most recognizable track, T-Bots continued performing and recording through lineup changes. Their music maintained a guitar-driven rock approach that appealed to their Brazilian audience during the 2000s and early 2010s.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
