y con las lanzas bien frías.
Cuando amanece otro día
el campo está despoblado,
ya no hay humo de descargas,
no hay gritos desencajados.
Hay un silencio de tumba
que envuelve todo el paraje
sólo una lanza rota
le hace mojón al coraje.
Y se oye un aire de huella,
lleno de dolor y rabia,
cantando que en Arbolito
cayó Chiquito Saravia.
