Tabernáculo de Davi formed in São Paulo in 1994, led by pastor and vocalist Davi Sacer. Their early albums like "Toque no Altar" (1995) and "Som de Adoradores" (1998) established them as a significant Brazilian worship band. In 2004, they faced plagiarism accusations over a melody borrowed from a secular song, which they eventually settled with an apology and royalty payments.
Davi Sacer left the band in 2006 after legal disputes over financial management. The group restructured with new members and kept recording, putting out albums like "Lugar de Adoração" (2006) and "Deus de Promessas" (2008). Their song "Magnificar" became widely known in worship circles, along with other tracks like "Só Ele é digno" and "Videira."
Later albums included "Aos Pés da Cruz" (2013) and "Deus Reina" (2019). The band's lineup has included vocalists André Valadão and Mariana Valadão, guitarist Luiz Arcanjo, keyboardist Isaías Saad, and drummer Márcio Pereira.
