Taborah

Taborah was a musical collective from England that formed in the 1980s. Their self-titled debut album came out in 1988, followed by records like The Inner Light in 1991 and To Know You in 1994. The group included Catherine Bott on vocals, Johnny Fraser-Allen on guitars, Steve Bingham on bass, and Roger Jackson on drums.

Their music drew from folk, classical, and Eastern influences, creating a sound that felt both ancient and immediate. One of their best-known songs, I Am, became something of an anthem for listeners drawn to spiritual themes. The track's straightforward lyrics and melodic approach typified their style.

Taborah released several albums through the 1990s and early 2000s, including Ancient Voices in 1997 and Spirit of the Wind in 2000. Their work occasionally drew criticism from some religious quarters for its eclectic use of sacred symbols and exploration of non-Western traditions, but they continued making music that resonated with a particular audience seeking connection through sound.
