Tag Team was a hip-hop duo best known for their 1993 single 'Addams Family (Whoomp!)'. Their debut album, 'Whoomp! (There It Is)', featured that hit along with other singles. They released two more studio albums, 'Audio Unheard' in 1996 and '7' in 1999, but neither matched the commercial success of their first record. Their catalog includes songs like 'Whoomp! There It Is', 'Animaniacs', and 'Black Soul Choir'.
Like many acts with a sudden hit, Tag Team faced challenges after their initial success. There were reported label disputes and legal issues surrounding the 'Whoomp!' sound. The duo's output slowed in the late '90s, and they never quite recaptured the momentum of that first single.
