Takaaki Natsushiro is a Japanese singer-songwriter from Hokkaido. He started playing in local bars and open mics after high school, drawing from both Japanese folk ballads and Western rock.
His debut single "Cadence" came out in 2016 and did well on the Oricon chart. Other songs like "Transit" and "Endroll" followed. He put out albums called "Echoes of the Heart," "Whispers from the Abyss," and "Celestial Symphony."
In 2017, there were some plagiarism accusations about one of his songs, which he denied. He has worked with pianist Ryuichi Sakamoto and folk singer Miyuki Nakajima.
