Take Care formed in Willow Creek, California in 2004. The indie-rock band includes Jake Taylor on vocals and guitar, Emily Carter on bass, Alex James on drums, and Sarah Jones on keyboards.

They released their debut album 'Broken Promises' in 2006, followed by 'Chasing Shadows' in 2010 and 'Into the Light' in 2014. Their song 'Please Don't Leave' appears on that last album.

In 2008, a leaked demo of their song 'Whispers in the Dark' led to plagiarism allegations from another band. Take Care denied the accusations.
