Tales Kauã

Tales Kauã formed in 2018 around lead vocalist Tales Almeida and percussionist Kauã Brandão in Salvador, Brazil. Their debut single "Senta Aqui" became a viral hit that year, with its straightforward pagode rhythm and direct lyrics connecting with listeners. The song's success quickly established them as a recognizable presence in Brazil's contemporary samba and pagode scene.

They followed up with their debut album "Só Quero Você" in 2019, which included tracks like "Compromisso" and "Joga Sem Parar." These songs maintained the group's accessible approach to romantic themes set against upbeat percussion arrangements. Their music operates within familiar Brazilian popular genres without attempting dramatic reinventions.

In 2020, the group faced plagiarism allegations regarding their song "Me Perdoa," which they denied. They continued releasing music, including the albums "Tudo o Que Eu Quero" and "Nosso Amor Vai Vencer," with songs like "Rabetão Furioso" and "Sem Fim (Louca Chika)" appearing in their catalog.

The current lineup includes guitarist Rodrigo Barbosa, bassist Felipe Gomes, and drummer Lucas Silva alongside the founding members. Their music remains focused on romantic themes delivered through straightforward pagode and samba arrangements that have found consistent audience response since their initial breakthrough.
