Tales of Destiny was a Japanese rock band that formed in the late 1990s. Their song "Yume de Aru Youni" became their most recognizable track, with Masaki Endoh handling vocals and lyrics while Masato Nakayama wrote the music. The group included bassist Kenichi Ito and drummer Takahiro Yamashita, and they sometimes worked with keyboardist Toshiya Ishii and cellist Hiroshi Takayama to flesh out their arrangements.
Their first album was self-titled, and they followed it with releases like "Tsuki to Taiyou no Ballad" and "Ephemeral." Endoh's health issues caused the band to pause activity at times. After Tales of Destiny ended, Endoh went on to perform solo, and Nakayama and Ito pursued other musical projects.
