Taller Para Niños formed in Barcelona in 1999, playing a mix of ska, punk, and reggae. Their song '3 Dias' became something of an anthem for them early on. They put out their first album, 'Somos un Circo,' in 2002.
Later records like 'Vamos a Volver' and 'La Sangre de los Inocentes' kept that ska-punk energy but took on heavier themes. Other songs from their catalog, like 'Cuando LA Llora' and 'Donde Estas,' show the same direct, melodic approach.
The band's lineup has included vocalist El Niño, guitarist Txus, bassist Rober, and drummer Selma. They've worked with other artists from the scene, including Manu Chao and Fermin Muguruza.
Their lyrics have sometimes drawn criticism, but they've kept at it, playing the music they started with back in Barcelona.
