Tangarine is a Scottish alternative rock band that formed in Glasgow around 2005. The group includes Stevie Jackson on vocals, Graham Dickson on guitar, Neil Primrose on bass, and Scott Paton on drums. They put out their first album, 'The Big Sleep,' in 2007.

Their 2012 album 'Into the Fields' gave the band its title track, which became one of their better-known songs. Other tracks like '1 Moment' and 'A Beautiful Girl Like You' appear in their catalog. They've released several albums since, including 'Perfect Symmetry' in 2009, 'The Midnight Sun' in 2014, and 'Lightning Strikes Twice' in 2017.

In 2010, Stevie Jackson was arrested on drug possession charges, an incident that created some public difficulty for the band at the time. They kept working afterward. Their music tends toward anthemic rock with a raw edge, recorded and performed out of Glasgow.
