Tanto Quanto formed in Brazil in the early 2000s with Dan Valbusa on vocals, Rafael Rech on guitar, Gustavo Nunes on drums, and Pedro Torres on bass. Their debut album 'Contraponto' came out in 2003 and included the song 'Viciado Em Você,' which became their most recognizable track.
That song got caught up in a copyright dispute in 2008, with Brazilian singer-songwriter Lulu Santos claiming it plagiarized his work. The legal case lasted for years and affected how people saw the band.
They kept making music after that, putting out albums on their own after leaving their original record label around 2005. Other songs from their catalog include 'Dez Mil Por Hora' and 'Distante.'
