Another Tomorrow

As I stand amongst the clouds

before the gods they tell me why

why I am destined to save this world

from the north to the distant shores

I see the sign of a farmer's pain

begging the sky above the fields

rain on, rain on me, rain on, rain on me, rain on

now he hearts the distant thunder

across the sky and through his mind

now he runs traveling homeward

as the tears fall from his eyes

The rain has come and now it pours

no one ever told me why

why the drought would turn flood tomorrow

a mortal lesson with the power of rain

to fight as one and not against

can't you see we only come back for more

I feel the ground as it soaks

the tears that weep from the gods

a silent sadness for the foolishness of man

will they ever learn that they can't stop the rain

and save the world instead of thinking of themselves

I see the rain coming in from the horizon

the clouds that hang low in the sky

and I feel it rain, and it rains and rains...

A farmer stands in his open fields

looks to the sky and raises his hands

and as a tear fall from his eye
