Tatianne Sun

Tatianne Sun is a Brazilian singer-songwriter born in Curitiba in 1973. Her father was a guitarist and her mother a singer, and she grew up listening to João Gilberto, Ella Fitzgerald, and Stevie Wonder. At sixteen, she enrolled at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she developed her approach to songwriting before returning to Brazil.

Her debut album, 'Amanhã,' came out in 1996. The title track became a hit, and the record established her as a new voice. In 1999, her album 'Educação Sentimental' included the song 'Tudo Tem Seu Tempo,' which became one of her most recognized works.

In 2003, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and took a break from music. After treatment, she returned to recording and performing. Her later albums include 'Um Gosto de Sol' from 2005, 'Carícias do Sul' from 2010, and 'Tão Real' from 2016. She has worked with artists like Gilberto Gil, Chico Buarque, and Marisa Monte.
