Technoboy Meets Ruffian

Technoboy Meets Ruffian is a Dutch hardstyle duo formed in 2003 by Sven Maessen (Technoboy) and Dennis de Bruin (Ruffian). They came together with a shared interest in the raw, energetic sound that was developing in the hardstyle scene at the time.

Their track 'The Undersound' became a notable release for them, capturing the blend of driving rhythms and melodic elements that characterized their work. It's the kind of track that found its place on dancefloors where that specific hardstyle energy was wanted.

As a production pair, Maessen handled much of the DJing and track construction, while de Bruin brought technical production work and performed alongside him. They operated as a unit focused on that particular hardstyle sound, building a following through club shows and festival appearances in that circuit.
