Chasing Day Dreams

Wake up and smell the rain on a peaceful summer night

Sip coffee, read a book and think about my life

There's just so many things to do before i die

And i will do them all with you right there by my side

Well we started making plans together in our apartment beside the bar

Imagining when she will not be there at our feet

Our little friend until the end

Imagine for a second please that you are as tiny as me

Now pretend you have to walk surrounded by me

Eventually i'll take a nap and then maybe i'll grab a snack

But either way i still can't wait for someone to come home
