Temtris

Temtris came out of the electronic underground in the late 1990s, led by a figure known as XTC. Their sound pulled from industrial acts like Coil and Front Line Assembly, mixing that with ambient textures. They kept a low profile, with other members including vocalist Nyx and multi-instrumentalist NOX.

Their debut album was 'Rite of Passage,' followed by releases like 'The Shadow Within' and 'Chaos Theory.' The song 'Awakening' from 2003 became their most recognized track, with its haunting melody and hypnotic rhythm. Other songs in their catalog include 'Escape Reality,' 'Fire in the Sky,' and 'Machines of War.'

Their music sometimes explored dark themes, which drew some criticism, but it found an audience that appreciated those edges. They worked in a space between industrial aggression and more introspective, ambient sounds, without much concern for mainstream visibility.
