Their single "That's The Way Love Is" got attention for its blend of dancefloor energy and Stingily's clear, emotive delivery.
They put out albums like Ten City in 1985, Foundation in 1989, and State of Mind in 1992. Lawson left in 1989, and there were some allegations about songwriting that lingered around the group. They kept working, releasing Welcome in 2003.
