Ten Fights For Life

Ten Fights For Life formed in Los Angeles in 1999 with Jared Klein on vocals, Joe Woods on guitar, Anthony Gibart on bass, and Josh Brown on drums. They were part of the early 2000s hardcore punk scene there, playing music that addressed politics, religion, and social injustice.

Their song 'Confusing Genocide With Jennacide (Cross out the 'Con')' drew criticism for its examination of war and violence. The band maintained it was meant as social commentary rather than glorification. Other tracks like 'Crossdressed and Minefaced' and 'Running Around Putting Babies On Spikes' continued their blunt lyrical approach.
