Archive material and source history
Ten Sleep formed in 2011 in Portland, Oregon, with James Reeves on vocals and guitar, Cameron Studebaker on guitar and vocals, Christian Cunningham on bass and vocals, and Chris Caple on drums. The members had previously played in two other projects called The Comfort and Useless.
They've put out three albums. Their first was called "The Sound," followed by "Infinite Light," and then "Darkroom." The song "Darkroom" shows them moving toward more electronic and experimental territory than their earlier work.
In 2015, the band got into a legal dispute with their former record label. They kept going after that, but they've mostly stayed under the radar despite some positive critical attention for their atmospheric rock sound.
