Teofilia was an Italian band fronted by Elisa Toffoli, who performed under her first name. They released their debut album 'Elisa' in 2000, which included the singles 'Luce (Tramonti a Nord Est)' and 'Cure Me.' Their 2002 album '10 Modì' was a tribute to painter Amedeo Modigliani and featured 'Almeno tu nell'universo.'
In 2006 they put out 'Ritorno a casa,' and three years later worked with American producer Glen Ballard on 'Heart.' Their song 'Draw Me' became particularly well-known. Other tracks in their catalog include 'Happy Hour,' 'Pau no Cú do Rei,' and 'Político Zé.'
In 2009, their song 'Buio e Luce' appeared on the soundtrack for the film 'L'uomo che ama,' which drew some criticism at the time. The band's lineup included guitarist Andrea Rigonat, bassist Cortese, and drummer Carlo Pupa.
