Tereza formed in 2003 around lead singer and harpist Tereza Cernochova, with guitarist Petr Harazin, bassist Filip Smetana, and drummer Jaroslav Vlach. Their debut album 'Sandau' came out in 2007, built around Cernochova's harp and vocals. The title track became their most recognizable song.
After Harazin and Vlach left in 2015, Cernochova and Smetana continued as a duo, adding drummer Martin Smutny and guitarist Jan Mikula. They've released several albums since, including 'Avalon' in 2019 and 'Visions' in 2022.
Their catalog includes songs like 'Abre a Janela' and 'Garota Engraçada' alongside 'Sandau.' The band's sound has kept Cernochova's harp and voice at the center through different lineups.
