Terra Do Nunca formed in Rio de Janeiro in the early 2000s with Luiz Pedrosa on vocals and guitar, Rodrigo Marcellino on bass, Alexandre Novaes on drums, and Paula Fernandes on keyboards. Their debut album came out in 2004 and included the song "Onde," which became their breakout hit.
They released several more albums over the next decade, including 2007's "Sinais," 2010's "Tudo Pode Mudar," 2013's "O Tempo Vai," and 2016's "O Que Resta." Another track, "Sol No Litoral," also appears among their most recognized songs.
At one point, the band faced legal questions about whether "Onde" contained plagiarized material. They continued working through that period and kept making music.
