Terror Reid formed in Los Angeles around 2000 with Frank Rini on vocals, Jesse Barnett on guitar, Kip Evans on bass, and Nick Hernandez on drums. They put out their self-titled debut album in 2002, a raw hardcore punk record that got them noticed. Over the next decade and a half, they followed it with albums like Revolution in 2006, The Resistance in 2009, and Vanguards in 2016.
They toured heavily, playing shows with bands like Hatebreed and Sick of It All. In 2010, bassist Kip Evans was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and took a break from the band before returning. Their 2023 single is called Uppercuts.
