Editor's note

Terrorizer's death metal and crust punk collision

The early 90s band behind 'World Downfall' and 'Fear of Napalm'.

If you want the pure, unfiltered Terrorizer sound, 'Fear of Napalm' is still the place to start. 'Corporation Pull-In' gives you a good sense of their later material.

Terrorizer's 1989 album 'World Downfall' fused death metal with crust punk at a time when those scenes rarely overlapped. 'Fear of Napalm' became their signature track, a blast of political rage that still gets referenced. Songs like 'Corporation Pull-In' and 'Enslaved By Propaganda' kept that abrasive, confrontational energy front and center.

They formed in the late 80s with Oscar Garcia on vocals, Pete Sandoval on drums, Jesse Pintado on guitar, and David Vincent on bass. After releasing 'World Downfall' and breaking up in 1992, they came back together in 2009.
