TH was a Brazilian rock band that formed in São Paulo in the early 1980s. The original lineup included Toni Platão on vocals, Marcelo Nova on guitar, Luis Sergio on bass, and Marcelo Bonfá on drums. Their debut album 'Álbum Vermelho' came out in 1985 and included the song 'A Dama e o Vagabundo,' which became one of their best-known tracks.
They released several albums through the late 1980s and 1990s, including 'Condutor,' 'A Cabeça de Dinossauro,' and 'Ritual.' Other songs like 'Hoje Ela Ta Pra Rua' and 'A Gente Cansa de Ser Forte' also became part of their catalog. The band's lineup changed over time, with Nova and Bonfá leaving in the early 1990s while Platão continued with different musicians.
Toni Platão's outspoken style sometimes drew attention, and he was arrested for drug possession in 1988, which led to him briefly leaving the band. TH kept recording and performing, putting out albums like 'Noite de Clipe' in 1992 and 'A Praia do Futuro' in 1998.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
