Thaís Monteiro grew up in a Pentecostal family in Salvador, Brazil, where she first connected with music through her church. Her debut album 'Espírito Santo' came out in 2015, with the title track becoming one of her most recognized songs.
Her music often draws from psalms and worship themes, as heard in songs like 'Salmo 146' and 'Bendize Oh Minh'alma.' She works with a band that includes guitarist Roni Rocha, bassist Lucas Santos, and drummer Felipe Costa.
Later albums include 'Além do Céu' from 2017 and 'Preciso de Ti' from 2019. Her catalog includes quieter worship moments too, like 'Descansar e Adorar.'
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
