Thalia (México)

Thalia began in the Mexican children's pop group Din Din before launching her solo career in 1990 with the album 'Thalía.' Her 1997 album 'Amor a la Mexicana' and 2000's 'Arrasando' became commercial successes, with songs like 'Enseñame a Vivir' representing her pop style.

In 2001, 'Arrasando' faced plagiarism allegations, accused of being a re-recorded Turkish song. Later, in 2017, her husband Tommy Mottola was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, though the allegations were eventually dropped.

She has worked with artists including Alejandro Sanz and Maluma, and released albums like 'El Sexto Sentido' in 2005 and 'Latina' in 2016. Her music maintains a presence in Latin pop without the dramatic claims sometimes attached to her career.
