THBD came out of Chicago in the early 2000s with a sound that mixed R&B, soul, and alternative rock. Their debut album was called "Unveiled." The band had four members: Anya Davis on lead vocals, Ethan James on guitar, Marcus Reed on bass, and James Carter on drums.
In 2007, THBD released "Good For You," which became their breakthrough single. The song did well on charts and got some critical attention. Around 2009, Marcus Reed left the band, and the remaining trio continued working together. They also had another track called "Lost In The Night."
