THCF formed in Canada around 2002, with Tyler Hubbard on vocals and guitar, Chris Fischer on drums, and Dustin Ingram on bass. They started playing in underground clubs and built a following there, drawing from punk rock and hip-hop. Their song 'Ides Za Kanadu' came out in 2007 and got some radio bans for its political lyrics about Canada.
They put out four albums between 2005 and 2013, including 'Twisted Reality,' 'Leviathan,' and 'The End of Days.' The music mixed punk, metal, and hip-hop, with lyrics that often dealt with social and political themes. They kept playing their own way without much industry support.
