The Acapella Company formed in the early 2000s as a vocal ensemble working without instruments. Their 2005 debut album was simply called 'A Cappella,' and they followed it with holiday collections like 'Sing We Now of Christmas' and later albums such as 'Call Me Crazy' and 'A Cappella Sing.'
Original members included soprano Brynn Albanese, tenor Tim Foust, tenor Joey Kibble, beatboxer Kevin Olusola, and baritone Scott Hoying. Over time, the group added alto Kirstin Maldonado and occasionally featured guest vocalist Tori Kelly. Kevin Olusola left in 2016, and the ensemble continued performing and recording.
Their repertoire spans spiritual songs like 'Abba, Father' and 'Amazing Grace' to more contemporary material. They contributed a cover of 'Flashlight' to the 'Pitch Perfect 2' soundtrack in 2015 and released a compilation titled 'Collections' in 2020.
