The Alley formed in 2015 around vocalist Park Sung-hoon, guitarist Lee Ji-hoon, and bassist Seo Ji-hoon. They released a debut EP in 2017 that got some attention but didn't break through commercially.
In 2019, their single 'No More' connected with listeners in a way their earlier work hadn't. The song reached the top of music charts and became their most recognizable track.
They followed that with their first full-length album 'The Light' in 2020, which included collaborations with Heize and Crush.
