Their debut album 'Exile on Mainstream' came out in 2001, blending alternative rock with electronic touches.
In 2005, their third album 'The Art of War' included the single 'As Bridges Burn,' a ballad about a crumbling relationship that reached the top ten on several charts. The song's lyrics drew some criticism for how they portrayed destructive relationships, which led to a temporary break for the band.
