Vermilion Lake

Traveller listen to me

Hear what my dead eyes did see

Look at the mountains up there

Between its summits we were

Trapped in a prison I lie

Because people called me a fake

But in these valleys up high

We saw that gruesome red lake

Water - his evil seed

Drink it and you must bleed

Until your body`s defeat

Then you are melting down

You seep into the ground

Drifting and when you are found&

Your soul beseeches the

Man on the Vermilion Lake

Pounding his raft with a silver stake

Staring down at the hazy ground

Seizing those bodies that drift around

I was a careful young man

don`t touch these waters, I cried

different indeed was my friend

cold was the night when he died

his red blood smoked down my hands

and slowly I crept to the shore

where my blind eyes sensed this man

now swear that you`ll pass on this lore

Beware of this damned water
