How could I not be jealous?

How could I not be sad?

Though I'm well aware of the circumstances,

And I'm quite conscious of the past,

And I understand her position,

And I realize the situation at hand,

And even if she had different feelings,

I know that it would be a futile demand,

But I want her really bad

She says I'm her only real friend

And she doesn't think about me like that

Well maybe a friend means forever to her
