The Baggios are a Brazilian trio with João Paulo Toledo on vocals and guitar, Marcos Caneda on bass, and Rafael Ramos on drums. They put out their first album, 'Brutown,' which mixed garage rock with blues. Later records like 'Baggiology' and 'Brutown Revisited' followed that rough-edged approach.
One of their tracks, 'Bem-te-vi,' features singer Céu. It's a good example of how they work with other voices while keeping their own sound. Other songs in their catalog include 'Domingo' and 'Espada de São Jorge.'
They've been described as playing garage rock with blues and tropicalia elements, though that's more about the feel than a strict formula. Their music doesn't aim for polish, and that's been part of their appeal from the start.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
