Their 1971 single "Funky Nassau" became their breakthrough track, with its distinctive bassline and horn arrangements. The song's success led to their debut album "Livin' Fat" in 1973, which mixed funk, reggae, and rock elements. They followed with albums like "Do You Like Disco" in 1975 and "Heaven and Hell" in 1977.
While their music has been sampled by artists including Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Snoop Dogg, "Funky Nassau" remains their most recognizable work, a track that still carries the particular energy of its Bahamian origins.
