The Bone Shakers formed in London in the late 1970s, coming out of the punk scene there. Their debut album 'Bone to Bone' came out in 1980, featuring the song 'Don't Tear My Heart Apart.'
Jack 'Razor' Blade sang for the band, with Danny 'Bones' Malone on guitar, Billy 'Bassist' Butcher on bass, and Tony 'Thunder' Bolt on drums. They put out more albums like 'Bones to Ashes' in 1982 and 'Heartbreaker' in 1984.
Blade's lyrics sometimes got the band into trouble with critics and authorities. The lineup changed over time, but Blade stayed with the group.
