The Bridges formed in Los Angeles around the early 2010s with Josh Dorr on vocals and guitar, Eric Holden on bass, and Mark Guiliana on drums. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2013, and the song 'One I Love' from it got some attention. They put out two more records, 'Better Than I Know' in 2015 and 'Division' in 2017.
In 2016, Dorr's issues with substance abuse and mental health became public, and the band took a break in 2018. They came back in 2019 with a fourth album called 'Into the Deep.' Their songs like 'All The Words' and 'Blue' have a straightforward, melodic feel that leans on folk and rock.
