The Broken Remotes formed in Seattle in 2005 with Samuel Carter on vocals and guitar, Ethan James on bass, and Oliver Reed on drums. They put out their first album, 'Echoes of the Past,' in 2007, which included the song 'Lie In Wait.'
Reed left the band in 2010, and Max Cohen joined on drums. They released two more albums, 'Broken Promises' in 2010 and 'Ashes to Ashes' in 2013. The group disbanded in 2015.
