This here's the story, the story of a man who feared the worst

What it was he did not know, but it was comin, it was comin he just knew

So he became the humble host of demons who robbed him of his youth

Like a man in exile, he roamed and rambled like a prisoner, a prisoner of no self-worth

And he said Beast In The Jungle wont you show me your dark face

And give me a chance to plead my case

Along came a woman, who loaned her heart and asked for no return

He would shiver in the scorching sun and she would warm him with nothing but her dreams

But in those dreams of a peaceful world, he was soon runnin, runnin from the beast.

The years went by and she grew tired so she looked into the core of the man's hurt

And she said Beast in The Jungle wont you show me your dark face

I think there's a deal that we can make

So I ask you now if I can take his place. take his place.

On a rainy night, he met her gaze but there was something wrong as she shivered from the heat of the fire

No words spoken. They both knew. The demons fled and she faded out with a smile.

On that stormy night, he laid her to rest and he felt her heart and spirit on the breeze

He flung himself upon her grave and he wailed and wept until he saw the Beast.

And he cried Beast in the Jungle I have finally seen your face
