The Crash formed in the Philippines in 1998, with Ely Buendia as their frontman and songwriter. Their debut album "Under the Stars" included the track "Disco Plan," which became popular locally. They put out several more albums like "Supernova," "Jeeps and Kirigami," and "Tomorrow Never Knows." Buendia left the band in 2007, and the remaining members kept recording under the same name. They reunited for a concert in 2011.
