Background notes

Archive material and source history

The Creases formed in 1995, a rock band from Los Angeles. Their debut album 'Broken Promises' came out in 1997, and its track 'Point' got some radio play. They put out a couple more albums after that, like 'Echoes of Pain' and 'Torn Apart'.

They played a mix of rock, punk, and grunge, with lyrics that could be pretty raw. In 2002, their drummer Dylan King had a drug possession arrest, which was a rough patch for the band. They kept going for a few more years, but by 2005, they had broken up.
