In 1985, they released 'The Weather', which included the title track that became their most recognized song. The album had a more atmospheric sound than their earlier work, with Hayes's vocals often described as haunting.
They kept recording through the late '80s and '90s, putting out albums like 'The Deluge' and 'The Apocalypse', but never matched the reach of 'The Weather'.
The lineup included Patrick Morrissey on guitar, Simon Gallup on bass, and Laurence Tolhurst on drums. They last released an album in 2004 called 'The Resurrection'.
